The Mercosur Summit held in Rio de Janeiro was a milestone for Petrobras, which had the opportunity to meet with the Minister of Hydrocarbons of Bolivia to discuss potential alliances and joint projects in the gas, fertilizers, renewable energies, and exploration & production (E&P) segments.
The president of Petrobras, Jean Paul Prates, emphasized the importance of the bilateral meeting, stating that ‘Bolivia can be a strategic partner’ in the gas and energy transition segments, highlighting the continuation of previous meetings with the Bolivian government to address fundamental issues for Petrobras, Brazil, and all of South America. The partnership between the two nations can be beneficial for both sides, resulting in significant advancements in the sector.
