Fans Spread Across The Most Diverse Platforms Discovered That GM Briefly Made Available What Will Be Its First Electric Vehicle, The Hybrid Corvette, The E-Ray 2024, Via Chevy’s Online Tool.
The exterior design combines the wide C8 Z06 body with the exhaust pipes from the regular model, and will be available in 13 colors. However, the biggest changes are in its interior. The first images of the engine suggest that the E-Ray will use the LT2 V8 engine from the regular Corvette. Previous reports explain that this Corvette used an electric motor in the front axle to provide all-wheel drive.
The lack of a charging port suggests that this is a conventional hybrid instead of a plug-in. Although there is a button to control regenerative braking, adaptive cruise control will also be possible.

What left many fans curious is that in the released images, it was not possible to see the charge ports of the battery pack, leading many to think that Chevy’s first hybrid Corvette might be a conventional electric vehicle (HEV) like Honda’s and not a hybrid (PHEV) like Ferrari’s.
