New Selection Process of IFRN Aims to Fill Dozens of Spots in Free Technical Courses. Federal Institute Offers Opportunities for the Technical Course in Administration in the EAD Modality.
The Advanced Campus Natal – East Zone of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), through the Pro-Rectorate of Education (Proen), is open for enrollment in free technical courses. The selection process of IFRN offers opportunities for the Technical Course in Administration in the EAD modality. In total, there are 80 spots divided between the Natal – East Zone campus and the Jardim do Seridó center.

Those interested in the free technical courses of the Federal Institute must have completed high school. The IFRN selection process for admission to the Technical Course in Administration, in the EAD modality, will make spots available at the Natal-East Zone Campus of the institution. The free technical courses will have in-person moments at the campus or center where students are enrolled.
The assessments, at the end of each module, will be in-person with a schedule of days and times provided by the course coordination. It is worth mentioning that half of the offered spots will be reserved for candidates who have completed high school entirely in Brazilian public schools, including in technical professional education courses.

Furthermore, it is important to highlight that the Technical Course in Administration at the Federal Institute trains professionals who perform administrative support functions: protocol and filing, preparation and dispatch of administrative documents, and inventory control. They also operate personnel and material managerial information systems and use basic computing tools to support organizational operations. With these free technical courses, it is possible to work in public, private, and third-sector institutions.
Find Out How to Participate in the IFRN Selection Process
Enrollment in the IFRN selection process for subsequent technical courses began at 2:00 PM on May 29 and will remain open until 11:59 PM on June 13, exclusively online, through the IFRN Contest Management System (SGC).
The registration fee is R$ 25. To register on the Candidate Portal, it is mandatory for the candidate to have an active email account. In the registration form, it is mandatory to provide the identity document number and CPF of the candidate.
For those without internet access, candidates can register at the nearest Federal Institute campus during business days and hours of operation.
After completing the electronic form and finalizing the registration in the system, candidates for the Technical Course in Administration who choose to enter through quotas must select the file upload tab and follow the procedures described in the IFRN selection process Notice.
How Will the Selection Process for Free Technical Courses Work?
Ranking for filling the spots will be conducted through an electronic drawing of candidates who are regularly registered. The IFRN Contest Management System (SGC) fully and automatically conducts the Electronic Drawing procedure.
Those who are drawn within the number of spots offered by campus/course/shift will be considered approved.
The remaining candidates, according to campus/course/shift, will be considered eligible and may occupy any remaining vacancies.

This is a great opportunity, as upon completing the course, students receive certification, enabling them to work in various administrative roles in companies of different sizes and segments.
