Some Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in Geology or Geophysics;
- Minimum of 10 or more years of recognized experience in the industry in exploration and production;
- Exploration experience in evaluating prospective basins, prospecting, and drilling wells;
- Deep understanding of hydrocarbon systems analysis applied to the identification of economic exploration opportunities in different geological contexts;
- Contribute to the quality assurance of exploration and potential client challenges;
Some Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership in Schlumberger’s global exploration organization;
- Ability to initiate, scope, and define objectives for integrated basin-scale assessment projects;
- Ability to perform rapid basin screening, identify positive points, and make recommendations for other activities;
- Identify critical project needs and take corrective actions to achieve project goals within timelines;
- Define technical objectives, quality expectations, and surface success factors for each assessment and imaging project;
