Activities: Under direct supervision, applies functional requirements and uses engineering tools to design electronic circuits or control systems for product modifications or new developments. Uses tools or software applications to analyze and conduct tests on electronic circuits or systems and documents performance against design criteria.
Identifies test objectives at the component level, following Halliburton’s Health, Safety, and Environment procedures, and evaluates test results. Assists in the preparation of component specifications, monitors workflow processes to document designs, and aids in the preparation of materials for design reviews. Collaborates with mentors to understand the basic content needed to submit an invention disclosure and recognizes ideas with potential IP without disclosing confidential information.
Functions effectively as a team member, communicating clearly and efficiently to provide innovative solutions. Takes the initiative to go beyond what situations require and focuses on attention to detail, ensuring that work is completed correctly, thoroughly, and to the highest standards. Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
