The Platforms P-65, P-08, Pampo 1 and Enchova 1, Located in the Campos Basin and Operated by Trident Energy, Were Interdicted by ANP
Trident Energy, a company that operates and modernizes mature oil and gas assets, had four platforms interdicted by ANP – National Agency of Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels, in the Campos Basin. The company began operating the platforms P-65, P-08, Pampo 1 and Enchova 1 in June of this year.

According to ANP, there are problems in the historical records of the production units that do not match previous inspection actions, which are related to the topics discussed in the ESDV, Flood and Drainage themes, indicating that the verified situation was investigated.
Trident Energy is Notified by ANP, Required to Comply with the Below Topics:
- Considering the results presented in the relevant documents, a new diagnosis of the flooding system of ESDV – Flood, Drainage and Emergency Shut-Down Valves must be carried out, and the actual operating conditions of the facility should be corrected if necessary;
- Propose functional and leak-proof tests applicable to all boundary ESDVs;

- Perform maintenance on degraded ESDVs. In emergency situations, the facility’s risk study should be considered, at a minimum, including the fire spread study; the integrity of the piping section related to the change; the integrity of the explosion-proof equipment; and training for the team;
- According to the final Trident procedure, perform an effective wet conduction test, which includes flow measurement and compares all measured variables with reference values;
- Conduct fire fighting performance tests – BCI;
- Evaluate a large number of employee resignations related to Trident’s core activities over the past two months. The analysis should identify the cause and assess the impact on the safety of Trident’s operations and propose an action plan (if applicable) to implement the measures.
