The Proposal: Study and Work, Earning a Scholarship
The notice offers the opportunity for staff to act as scholarship holders in the role of mentors, tutors, and advisors for courses linked to the Future Digital program.
The aim is to strengthen technical training actions in areas related to digital transformation, with a special focus on the axis of professional and technological education.
The weekly workload is 10 hours, with 6 hours in-person and 4 hours remote, which makes it easier to reconcile with other administrative and academic activities.
The work will take place between July and November 2025, covering a full semester of activities.
Who Can Sign Up
The opportunity is restricted to effective staff of IFRS, including both teaching and technical-administrative personnel. They must be in regular exercise and have a profile or experience compatible with the functions outlined in the project.
Those interested must access the complete notice available on the portal of the IFRS Rio Grande campus and fill out the application form by June 16. Selection will take place through curriculum evaluation and interview.
Inside the Course: Focus on Development and Technological Residency
The project includes educational and practical activities aimed at training Front-End and Back-End Developers, with an emphasis on agile methodologies, programming languages, and market practices.
The proposal is for scholarship holders to act as facilitators, contributing to the organization, application, and guidance of the course classes.
In addition to the pedagogical activities, Connect and Train includes technological residency actions, where participants can apply the knowledge acquired in real projects, alongside public institutions or partner organizations. This ensures an applied education, with direct results on the curriculum of those involved.
More Than a Course: Incentive to Digital Culture
According to IFRS, Connect and Train is part of an institutional effort to accelerate the integration of staff and students into the digital world, promoting qualification in strategic areas for the country.
The proposal also contributes to reducing technological inequalities within public education.
“It is a unique opportunity for training, practical experience, and financial recognition for those already working in the institution, especially with a focus on innovation and digital culture,” stated the project coordination in a note.
