Fiocruz Course Trains To Lead Innovations In Health
Fiocruz Brasília, through the School of Government and the CoLaboratory of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Society, has just opened registrations for Public Call No. 16/2024.
The specialization course in Digital Transformation in Health aims to train professionals who wish to lead digital transformation and innovation projects in the health sector, collaborating with renowned institutions, such as the University of Brasília (UnB).
The program aims to develop leaders capable of implementing innovative technologies in the health system, promoting greater efficiency, transparency, and sustainability.
Main Objectives Of The Specialization
The course has been structured to qualify professionals in three main areas:
Leadership In Digital Transformation Projects: The training covers the knowledge necessary for creating and implementing projects that involve the use of innovative technologies, effectively improving health services.
Transparency And Efficiency: Another important focus is to empower participants to strengthen social control mechanisms and the management of public policies.
This objective involves not only implementing more efficient practices but also promoting a more transparent system.
Long-Term Sustainability: With replicable technological solutions, the specialization also aims to foster sustainable development, promoting practices that can be scaled and applied in different regions and scenarios of public health.
Distribution Of Vacancies
The specialization will have a total of 60 vacancies, distributed as follows:
- 20 vacancies for public servants of the Federal District Health Secretariat (SES/DF).
- 20 vacancies for collaborators and servants of the National Council of Health Secretaries (CONASS).
- 20 vacancies open for wide competition, allowing other interested professionals in the area to apply.
Application And Selection Process
Interested candidates can apply between November 18 and December 6, 2024, until 11:59 PM. The application must be made online, and all requested documentation must be submitted through the SIGALS platform.
After the application period ends, candidates will undergo a selection process that involves multiple stages carefully designed to identify the most qualified candidates.

Analysis Of The Letter Of Intent And Lattes Curriculum
The first phase includes an analysis of each candidate’s academic and professional experience, checking the alignment between the candidate’s profile and the course objectives.
Technological Solution Project For Public Health
In addition to the letter of intent, a project presenting an innovative and practical solution to the challenges of public health will be required.
This project will be one of the most important criteria for selection, valuing viable proposals with potential to add value to the health system.
Diversity And Biopsychosocial Reception Committees
This phase, aimed at ensuring diversity and inclusion in the program, involves interviews with candidates to verify aspects of identity and biopsychosocial reception.
The score for each candidate will be calculated based on specific criteria, such as synthesis ability, relevant experience for the course, use of transparency mechanisms, and the scalability potential of the proposed technological solutions.
To be approved, candidates must achieve at least 50% in each stage; otherwise, they will be disqualified.
