The Ceará State University (UECE) has launched the Announcement No. 07/2024, regulating the Special Entrance Exam for free undergraduate courses in the online (EAD) modality. This selection process, carried out in partnership with the Open University of Brazil (UAB), offers 4,216 spots in various courses and locations, with 400 spots for the Physical Education Licensure providing an excellent opportunity for continued education and professional training.
The free online (EAD) course aims primarily to train professionals to work in the area of Physical Education, with activities planned to occur remotely. The total workload will be completed through forums, seminars, interviews, and mandatory in-person meetings at designated centers. Schedules will be announced later by the course coordinations.
Available Spots and Locations
There are 4,216 spots, of which 400 are for the free online (EAD) Physical Education Licensure course distributed across several municipalities in Ceará, such as Amontada, Aquiraz, Camocim, Iguatu, Quixadá, and Sobral, among others. Of this total, 50% of the spots are reserved for the quota system, covering students from public schools, economically disadvantaged individuals, and specific ethnic groups.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a written examination, composed of multiple-choice questions and an essay. There will be reserved spots for affirmative actions, such as social and ethnic-racial quotas and for people with disabilities (PwD). Candidates in open competition, public school teachers, and PwD also have specific segmentation in the selection process.
Requirements for Enrollment
To participate, it is necessary to have completed secondary education or be in the last year, with proof of completion by the time of enrollment. Identity documents are also required, and in some cases, proof of income and medical reports for PwD. Candidates must have internet access and a computer to follow the activities.
