The Federal Institute of Bahia Is Open for Applications for Thousands of Spots in Free Technical Courses in Different Areas of Knowledge.
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia (IFBA) is open for applications for its selection process of 2025, focused on free technical courses. In total, there are 5,375 available spots across 22 cities in Bahia, where IFBA campuses are located.
Of the offered spots, 3,295 are for integrated technical courses with high school, and 2,080 are for subsequent courses aimed at those who have already completed high school. Highlight for the campus in Ubaitaba, which has 70 spots open for the Computer Science course in the integrated modality, whose pedagogical proposal was approved in 2024 by the Council for Education, Research, and Extension (Consepe).
The selection process covers technical professional education courses at the high school level, catering to both students seeking integrated high school courses and those who have completed this stage and wish to pursue a subsequent qualification.

How to Participate in the IFBA Selection Process
Those interested in integrated courses need to have completed Elementary School (1st to 9th grade) by the time of enrollment at IFBA. The official announcement also offers the possibility of exemption from the application fee for candidates who meet the established criteria.
