With salaries up to R$ 6,356.02, IFMG is opening its doors to new talents seeking stability and professional growth, but the time to apply is running out.

Attractive Salaries and Benefits for Visiting Professors at IFMG

According to public notice No. 313/2024, IFMG announced two temporary positions for the role of Visiting Professor at the Betim Campus.

The selected candidates will have a weekly workload of 40 hours and may receive between R$ 4,580.57 and R$ 6,356.02 per month, depending on their academic credentials. Furthermore, the approved candidates will be entitled to a meal aid of R$ 1,000.00, adding even more value to their remuneration.

The opportunities are divided as follows:

  • 1 Position for the Area of Chemistry: Requires a higher education degree in Chemistry.
  • 1 Position for the Area of Microbiology: Requires at least a higher education degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Food Engineering.

Applications Open, but Time is Running Out!

Those interested in participating in the selection process need to act quickly. Applications are open from August 21 to September 3, 2024.

To apply, candidates must visit the official IFMG website, fill out the electronic form, and pay a fee of R$ 50.00 to confirm their participation.

Stages of the Selection Process: What to Expect

According to IFMG, candidates will go through three rigorous classification stages. The first stage involves submitting the required documentation for analysis. The documents must be sent to the email concursos.betim@ifmg.edu.br by September 12, 2024.

In the second stage, there will be a detailed assessment of the applicants’ resumes based on the submitted documents. Finally, candidates who advance will participate in an oral exam, which will be the final stage of the process.
