Federal Revenue Releases Second Batch of Income Tax 2025 with Refunds for Over 5.7 Million Brazilians. See Who Has Priority and How to Check Your Refund Step by Step.
If you are keeping an eye on your money back from Income Tax, get ready: the Federal Revenue started to release this Monday (30) the second batch of the Income Tax 2025 refund. In total, R$ 11 billion will be paid to over 6 million taxpayers. The good news is that many people are receiving extra cash in their accounts, and earlier than expected!
This batch mainly includes those who filed their declaration in the first days of the deadline and who have legal priority: seniors over 80 years old, taxpayers between 60 and 79 years old, people with physical or mental disabilities, those with serious illnesses, and teachers, as well as those who opted for the pre-filled declaration or chose to receive via PIX with CPF key.
The payment will be made during the day today, directly into the bank account provided in the declaration. Those who do not receive it now may still be included in the upcoming batches, which run until September. And, of course, it’s good to keep an eye on the Federal Revenue website to know if you are included or if there are any pending issues that need to be resolved.
-
Delayed FGTS will offer online consultation starting in June, and workers will be able to track pending amounts through the Regularize Portal without leaving home, in a change that promises to speed up forgotten deposits.

The bridge connecting Brazil and Paraguay has a colossal structure, 1,294 meters over the Paraguay River, and 90% of the works completed, but customs bottlenecks, lack of resources, and obstacles between 4 countries still threaten the operation of the 2,400 km Bioceanic Route.

A ship becomes central to Petrobras’s billion-dollar contract, and a Santa Catarina shipyard will build four R$ 11 billion subsea vessels to operate in deep waters starting in 2030.
How to Check Your Refund?
It’s easy: access the Federal Revenue website here and click on “My Income Tax“. Then, choose the option “Check Refund“. Enter your CPF, date of birth, and the declaration year (2025). There you will know if you are already on the list and also if your declaration has fallen into the fine mesh.
And those who have fallen into the fine mesh still have a chance to regularize the situation and ensure the refund in the upcoming batches.
So, keep your eyes open! This money can make a difference in your month. After all, those who file correctly receive sooner!
Have you received your refund yet?
