For The Construction Of Solar Plants, 240 New Jobs Will Be Created
BRL 70 million is being invested by Alsol Renewable Energies, a company of the Energisa group, for the construction of four distributed solar generation plants in Minas Gerais. The works will be connected by July this year, with a generation capacity of about 20.3 MWp.

The main focus of the projects, according to Petronotícias, two of which are already in operation, is to serve small and medium enterprises, with the aim of providing energy at a more competitive cost to entrepreneurs during this crisis caused by Covid-19. Together, the four works have generated or will create 240 direct jobs.

Every time a river flows into the sea, an amount of energy equivalent to a 120-meter waterfall is silently wasted, but Japan has just inaugurated the world’s first power plant that captures this waste and transforms it into electricity 24 hours a day without sun, wind, or fuel.
According to the president of Alsol, “We have a commitment to our clients, which is to serve, be close, and meet their needs, especially in the current scenario. Hence, the importance of continuing to invest in this solar generation segment is fundamental for the energy of the future.” At the end of May, Alsol connected the Capim III photovoltaic solar plant in Uberlândia, with a capacity of 2.3 MWp, generating energy in a clean and sustainable way. The investment was around BRL 10 million.
Two more projects are being completed, with investments totaling approximately BRL 40 million, further boosting solar generation in the state. The Santa Rosa plant, which is expected to be inaugurated by the end of June, will have a generation capacity of 6.1 MWp. The Granja Marileusa I plant is scheduled to connect in July, with practically the same capacity (5.9 MWp). In January, the Jardim II plant was inaugurated, also in Uberlândia, with a generation capacity of 6 MW. The project received investments of about BRL 20 million.
The clients of these plants are mainly micro, small, and medium enterprises that operate in essential segments, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, and butcheries. Alsol has clients in almost all regions of Minas Gerais.
