This Contract Adds to Four FPSOs That Petrobras Awarded to RigNet Last Year and Represents RigNet’s Ongoing Expansion in Its FPSO Deployment Portfolio
After winning a public tender with Petrobras, RigNet, a leading provider of intelligent and ultra-secure network solutions, announced today, November 5, that it has signed a multi-year contract to add managed communication services using O3B VSAT technology to six of the state-owned company’s FPSOs. Along with four FPSOs that Petrobras awarded to RigNet last year, this new contract represents RigNet’s ongoing expansion in its FPSO deployment portfolio to a total of seventeen awarded solely in Brazil.
