Free technology courses: Samsung Ocean is now accepting applications to train new professionals in the IT sector with a total focus on the job market.

Samsung Ocean, Samsung's technology training program, is now accepting applications for free technology courses this October. The schedule includes remote and in-person classes on a wide range of areas, such as: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Programming, Internet of Things, Digital Manufacturing and Digital Health.

List of free technology courses provided by Samsung

Samsung Ocean activities are completely free and offer a certificate of participation:

  • Innovative Entrepreneurship Track: Development and metrics of Innovative Products (Part 2);
  • Programming Track: Programming for beginners Learning to program from scratch with Scratch (Part 2);
  • Digital Manufacturing Track: Electronics/Microcontrollers for Digital Manufacturing (Part 1);
  • Android Track: WebServices with Retrofit and Images with Glide;
  • Digital Fabrication Track: Fabrication Processes and Introduction to 3D Modeling Software (Part 1);
  • Entrepreneurship Track: Pitch Theory and Practice;
  • Programming Track: Programming for beginners Learning to program from scratch with Scratch (Part 3);
  • Digital Fabrication Track: Fabrication Processes and Introduction to 3D Modeling Software (Part 2);
  • AI Track: Understanding and implementing artificial intelligence models with Orange and Python (Part 2);
  • Digital Manufacturing Track: Electronics/Microcontrollers for Digital Manufacturing (Part 2);
  • AI Track: Data Science Lab with Pandas and Python;
  • Android Trail: Lists with RecyclerView and Multithread;
  • Innovative Entrepreneurship Track: Business Model and Market;
  • Digital Fabrication Track: Fabrication Processes and Introduction to 3D Modeling Software (Part 3);
  • AI Track: Understanding and implementing artificial intelligence models with Orange and Python (Part 3);
  • IoT Track: Prototyping Lab with Basic Arduino;
  • Digital Manufacturing Track: Electronics/Microcontrollers for Digital Manufacturing (Part 3);
  • AI Track: Understanding and implementing artificial intelligence models with Orange and Python (Part 4);
  • AI Track: Data Science Natural language processing and opinion mining in Python.

Follow the steps below to enroll in free courses of technology

Those interested in taking part in free technology courses can register on the official website, where you can also see the full list of free courses at Samsung. Samsung Ocean's October schedule includes remote classes focused mainly on Artificial Intelligence.

On Wednesday, the 9th, there will be a lab with Pandas and Python focused on Data Science. Still on AI and Data Science, the Natural Language Processing and Opinion Mining Class in Python is scheduled for Friday, the 11th.

Still on the Artificial Intelligence Track, the Deep Learning class with an introduction to Keras and Python takes place on Tuesday, the 15th.

In the in-person classes in Manaus, residents can sign up for the Scratch Track for beginners, which will be held on October 3 and 8. Those interested in the Android System can sign up for the WebServices class with Retrofit and Images with Glide, which will take place on the 7th. For those who want to learn more about IoT, they can participate in a prototyping lab with Arduino, scheduled for Friday (11).

The unit where free technology courses are held is located at the UEA Higher School of Technology (EST), on Avenida Darcy Vargas, close to Amazonas Shopping.
