The Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU) announced on Monday (18) its public contest notice, focusing on professionals to work in the Juiz de Fora region and other cities. The openings include positions for doctors, nurses, nursing technicians, psychologists, pharmacists, drivers, and rescuers.
It is worth mentioning that the SAMU notice was recently rectified. According to the rectification, the requirements for some positions, such as Administrative Assistant, Occupational Engineer, Mechanic, and Safety Technician.
In addition, the number of openings for Rescuer Driver, Doctor, and Pharmacist has also been modified. Changes have also been made to the specific knowledge program contents for Occupational Engineer and Safety Technician, as well as modifications to sub-items of the notice. Learn How to Register for the SAMU Contest
Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old, be up to date with electoral obligations, and, in the case of male candidates, with military obligations.
Additionally, it is necessary to have completed high school, technical, or higher education in the specific field of the desired position. Some of the total vacancies are reserved for candidates with disabilities and for those who meet the criteria established in the notice.
The public contest registrations will be open from March 25 to April 18, 2024, and must be completed exclusively through the Ibade website. The registration fee ranges from R$ 45 to R$ 200, with the possibility of requesting a waiver within the period established in the notice.
Details of the Public Contest Selection Process
The selection of candidates in the SAMU contest will be conducted through an objective test, which will cover content in Portuguese language, specific knowledge, about the SUS, Emergencies, and SAMU. Additionally, there will be a titles test, practical test, and didactic test for some positions. The written test is estimated to take place on May 19, 2024.
The public contest will be valid for two years, with the possibility of extension for an equal period. It is also worth mentioning that successful candidates in the public contest will receive salaries ranging from R$ 1,407.49 to R$ 8,032.50, with a work schedule that can range from 12 to 40 hours per week.
