Requirements and Income Verification
To compete for one of the 640 free spots, candidates must be in their second year of high school or have already completed it, and meet the specific minimum age requirements for each course, which range from 15 to 18 years. Additionally, it is necessary to prove low income, defined as a monthly per capita income of up to two minimum wages (R$ 3,036.00), through self-declaration at the time of online enrollment.
The calculation of per capita family income is simple: add up the gross earnings of all family members residing in the same household and divide by the total number of people. The resulting value must be equal to or less than two minimum wages to meet the eligibility criteria.
Support Centers
Rosana Abutakka, director of Professional Education at Senac-MT, emphasizes the importance of candidates indicating, in addition to their desired course, the support center where they intend to apply for the spot. Although Mato Grosso has centers in cities like Cuiabá, Sinop, Sorriso, Tangará da Serra, Barra do Garças, and Colíder, the director highlights that all 142 municipalities in the state can register, as the centers serve as support units for EAD courses.
Specific Courses: Optics and Tourism Guide
The director also emphasizes the need to read the announcement carefully, especially for the Technician in Optics and Technician in Tourism Guide courses. The former will have in-person meetings and practical activities at the Óptica Prime Lentes laboratory in Cuiabá, while the latter will include technical trips and in-person meetings, along with technological resources for learning.
Enrollment for Free Courses
Enrollment for the free online technical courses (EAD) can be done until March 14 at 5 PM (Brasilia time), through the portal EAD of Senac, where interested parties should scroll down to the “Technical Courses” section.
“These courses are an excellent opportunity for those seeking professional qualification with flexibility and complete support,” says Rosana.
