Cintia Miranda, Performance, Governance and Experience Manager at Firjan, highlights: “The Firjan Senai Internship Program contributes to the training of new generations of professionals and helps create and maintain an environment of renewal, a permanent revitalization for Firjan and for companies that subsequently benefit from our interns.”
Internship Program Starts in August
The Senai internship program, which will begin in August, aims to provide students with the opportunity to complement their academic training through professional experiences and development actions that promote technical, cultural, and interpersonal improvement.
Luiz Alexandre Cortat, 27, was hired in October of last year as a Human Resources Assistant in the Human and Organizational Development Management. He started as an intern in the Firjan Library and emphasizes: “Interning at Firjan Senai was an incredible experience that led to my hiring. I even had the chance to transition my career. Developing during the internship and continuing to evolve within the company is a unique opportunity. I wish everyone could have this experience.”
Senai Selection Process
The selection process includes online registration on the Firjan Senai website, followed by individual interviews, case resolutions, alignment discussions, and a final panel.
To provide closer follow-up of the intern, the program includes a development path, that is, training moments on the most current themes for the professional.
Additionally, Firjan Senai offers the organization of events that address technical aspects of academic training, whether in university or technical schools, a communication channel for discussions and suggestions, and even dialogue sessions with federation executives.
Cintia Miranda emphasizes that the internship is entirely practical, involving young people in all tasks. “Senai interns have the opportunity to experience the day-to-day of their profession, through practical experiences, actively participating in the routine, processes, and projects of the company,” she adds.
Registration:
To register for the Firjan Internship Program, interested individuals must access the official Firjan website and complete the online registration form by June 9. The selection process includes several stages, such as individual interviews, case resolutions, alignment discussions, and a final panel. It is important that candidates are enrolled in technical or higher education courses and have availability to fulfill the daily workload of four to six hours. The internship offers an excellent opportunity for professional development, with various benefits such as a scholarship, meal allowance, transportation assistance, life insurance, and paid leave.
