As One Of The Largest Oil Operators In The World, Shell Officially Announced That These Investments Will Continue Until 2020

[supsystic-social-sharing id=’1′]Royal Dutch Shell, one of the most traditional and respected oil companies in the world, announced that it will invest more than US$ 2 billion (more than 6 billion reais at today’s exchange rate), regardless of whether it will be successful in the oil auctions in October 2017 or not. The announcement was made by the Government Relations Director for Brazil, Flávio Rodrigues yesterday (14).

Rodrigues emphasized that the investment targets do not foresee capital injection in any blocks to be acquired in future auctions, which guarantees more operations regardless of any other aspect of the Brazilian economy.

It is worth mentioning that Shell is also participating in the 14th pre-salt bidding round, with a total of 287 blocks in the basins where oil has been found. These Basins Are: Sergipe-Alagoas, Espírito Santo, Campos, Santos, and Pelotas and in the onshore basins of Parnaíba, Paraná, Potiguar, Recôncavo, Sergipe-Alagoas, and Espírito Santo.

We need not say that Shell is in second place in hydrocarbon production in Brazil, which is now further increasing its service portfolios and taking advantage of Petrobras’s decline.

The moment for recovery in the sector is approaching, are you prepared? Have you studied English and done your training? It’s worth noting that job rackets are diminishing in Brazil and unfortunately or fortunately (it depends on your point of view), foreigners prefer qualified professionals, so don’t count on luck, make your own.
