Stellantis Launches Free Technological Residency Course in Partnership with UFPE and FACEPE for Engineers Specializing in Automotive.
Stellantis, one of the largest automotive groups in the world, announced the third edition of the Technological Residency Program, in partnership with the Computer Science Center (Cln) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and the Foundation for the Support of Science and Technology of the State of Pernambuco (FACEPE). This program aims to provide advanced training for professionals with a degree in Engineering, focusing on the automotive industry, through an exclusive free course.
Stellantis Program and Registrations
The course, which is free, is scheduled to begin in October 2024 and offers 75 spots. Of these, 45 will be filled with candidates who will receive scholarships.
Registrations will be open until September 27, and the selection will be based on criteria established in the notice, starting with the completion of the registration form.

Structure of the Free Course
The Lato Sensu postgraduate program offered by UFPE lasts six months, divided into five months of remote theoretical classes and one month of practical training.
This final month can be conducted in person or remotely, providing flexibility for participants.
During the practical period, students will have the opportunity to work directly with Stellantis and UFPE, representing a valuable experience for professional training.
The course is intended for graduates in Engineering who have an advanced or fluent level of English.
The training covers three main areas of specialization: Control Systems Engineering for the Automotive Industry (Controls), Calibration Systems Engineering for the Automotive Industry (Calibration), and Software Development for the Automotive Sector (Software).
Each specialization has a total workload of 360 hours.
Specializations and Scholarships from Stellantis
Each of the three areas of specialization has 25 spots available.
The top 15 candidates in each area of expertise will receive a scholarship worth a total of R$ 24 thousand for the six-month period.
The specializations are coordinated by professors Abel Guilhermino (Controls), Divanilson Campelo (Calibration), and Breno Miranda (Software), who bring extensive academic and professional experience to the program.

The Advanced Engineering Manager at Stellantis, Toshizaemom Noce, highlighted the success of previous editions of the program.
According to Noce, about 90% of participants who expressed interest in continuing their careers were hired after completing the course.
