The Offshore and Onshore Positions Opened by Subsea 7 for the Positions of Radio Operator, Nurse, and More Are Destined for Rio de Janeiro

Subsea 7 has more than 11,000 people in 33 countries and a deep understanding of the oil and gas sector. Currently, the company has offshore and onshore positions for the roles of safety technician, navigation officer, radio operator, sailor, internship, nurse, and more. All positions are aimed at the state of Rio de Janeiro.

Nurse – Offshore

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
  • Intermediate/advanced English;
  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Nursing;
  • Training in Advanced ITLS;
  • Training in ECC;
  • Advanced Office Suite;
  • CBSP;
  • HUET.

Installations Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
  • Advanced English;
  • Professionals with prior experience in the role (equipment installation, lines, Christmas tree, or precommissioning);
  • Desirable experience in VBA.

Safety Technician Intern

  • Currently enrolled in a Technical Safety course or awaiting internship;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Intermediate Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Desirable knowledge in Power BI.

Deckhand

  • Deckhand II/4;
  • Desirable Intermediate English.

Engine Room Sailor

  • High school diploma;
  • Certifications: CIR MNM – rule III/4;
  • Intermediate English.

Radio Operator

  • Desirable High School Diploma;
  • ANATEL License (mandatory for the role);
  • CNS014 (mandatory for the role);
  • Certification for helicopter operations, Maneuver and Fire Fighting Team (EMCIA);
  • Advanced English.

2nd Engineer

  • Second Engineer III/1 (having III/2 ticket is a differential);
  • Advanced English;
  • Desirable 2 years of experience in the role on Offshore vessels with DP II classification.

2nd Navigation Officer DPO

  • Second Nautical Officer II/1;
  • Full DP certification or at least Advanced DP certification;
  • Advanced English;
  • Desirable 2 years of experience as a Second Nautical Officer I or 2 years as a Second Nautical Officer II on Offshore vessels with DP II classification.

Safety Technician – Offshore

  • Completed Technical Safety course, with registration at the Ministry of Labor;
  • Previous experience in Safety work in an offshore environment;
  • Advanced English;
  • Knowledge of Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of legislation regarding Safety, Health, and Environment;
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISM Code standards.
