Volkswagen SUV Has Special Conditions, Efficient Consumption and Lower Price Than the Polo, with Zero Interest, Bonuses of Up to R$ 10,000 and Turbo Engine 1.0 170 TSI.

The Volkswagen started selling the Tera High 1.0 AT with zero interest and bonuses of up to R$ 10,000 on the valuation of the used car, a condition that reduces the effective price to R$ 131,890 until the end of October.

With this, the new compact SUV costs less than the Polo Highline, listed at R$ 133,490, and maintains fuel consumption of 14.5 km/l of gasoline on the highway according to Inmetro.

Special Offer for the High Version

The focus of the campaign is the High 1.0 170 AT, one of the most sought after since its launch.

The model has a listed price of R$ 141,890, but the combination of financing with zero interest and overvaluation of the used car makes it possible to drop to R$ 131,890.

The automaker advises that the conditions are valid until the end of October, in national actions and regional retail events.

The rules for obtaining the bonus on trade-in require a vehicle manufactured between 2012 and 2024, with an average of up to 10,000 km per year, documentation in the name of the Tera buyer and other usual items for evaluating used cars.

The policy is applied at participating dealerships and may vary depending on stock.

Tera High Equipment

Even positioned above the other configurations, the Tera High maintains a cost-benefit proposal by gathering comfort and connectivity features.

Among the highlights are 17-inch alloy wheels with 205/55 tires, a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel, ambient lighting under the multimedia center, and front parking sensors.

The package also includes a one-touch function for all four power windows and glove compartment lighting.

As an option, the roof can receive contrasting black paint.

The VW Play multimedia system with a 10.1-inch screen, wireless connection for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Climatronic climate control, and wireless phone charger appear in the higher trim levels and enhance the list.

Rain and twilight sensors, a rearview camera, and six speakers complete the package.

Engine, Transmission and Fuel Consumption

Under the hood, the Tera High uses the 1.0 170 TSI three-cylinder flex engine, with 116 hp when fueled with ethanol and 109 hp with gasoline, plus 16.8 kgfm of torque with both fuels.

The transmission is a six-speed automatic.

According to Inmetro, the automatic version records 12.2 km/l in the city and 14.5 km/l on the highway with gasoline.

With ethanol, the numbers are 8.6 km/l and 10.3 km/l, respectively.

These results place the SUV among the most efficient in its segment, helping to explain the brand’s commercial strategy to keep it competitive against hatchbacks and compact SUVs in the price range of R$ 130,000 to R$ 140,000.

Interior Space and Dimensions

With 4,151 mm in length and 2,566 mm in wheelbase, the Tera replicates the known base of Polo and Nivus, but adjusts height and width to reinforce the SUV visual.

The external dimensions are 1,504 mm in height and 1,777 mm in width, without considering the mirrors.

The 350-liter trunk (VDA standard) is one of the model’s highlights for urban use and short trips.

Colors and Customization Options

The lineup offers six color options. Among the solid tones, Ninja Black has no additional cost and Solid White adds value to the list price.

The metallic colors Hypernova Red, Lunar Silver, Platinum Gray, and Arctic Blue have a suggested markup by the network.

Combinations with a black roof appear as an option in the higher content versions.

Comparison with the Polo Highline

Equivalent to the Polo Highline in content, the Tera High comes close — and, with the incentives, is priced lower than the brand’s best-selling hatch.

For consumers, the differences lie in the higher driving position, the 350-liter trunk, and the SUV visual. For Volkswagen, the action helps to maintain the sales pace after the initial phase of high demand.

Target Audience and Campaign Advantages

The biggest beneficiaries are drivers looking to trade in hatchbacks or entry-level sedans manufactured between 2012 and 2024, with low mileage and regular documentation.

Those who meet the requirements can receive up to R$ 10,000 in bonuses, take advantage of zero interest, and acquire a newly launched SUV with a complete equipment package.

For those who do not qualify, the network maintains traditional financing conditions and local promotions with differentiated installments.

The presence of the Tera in retail actions and digital campaigns reinforces Volkswagen’s bet on volume and visibility in this price range.

The guidance is to confirm at dealerships the availability of color, version, and regional conditions.

Performance and Cost-Benefit

The average consumption figures certified by Inmetro serve as a reference and may vary depending on usage and fuel type.

Even so, the numbers of 12.2 km/l in the city and 14.5 km/l on the highway with gasoline reinforce the rational appeal of the Tera, which combines efficiency and competitive pricing.

The combination of financial conditions, complete equipment, and economic performance highlights the SUV in Volkswagen’s portfolio.

In practice, the model costs less than the Polo during the ongoing campaign and offers additional trade-in advantages with bonuses.

In your choice, which factor would weigh more: the R$ 10,000 bonus, the zero interest, or the equipment package offered by the SUV?
