Professional training with formal employment contract, monthly salary and benefits attracts candidates for Vale’s free technical courses in partnership with Senai in Espírito Santo, with opportunities focused on industrial, railway and port areas, in addition to practical training within the company’s operations.

In partnership with Senai, Vale has opened registrations for the Professional Training Program 2026, an initiative aimed at qualifying residents of Espírito Santo interested in working in technical and operational areas related to the company’s industrial, railway, and port activities.

In addition to free training, the project offers practical experience within the company’s operations, allowing participants to closely follow the routine of sectors considered strategic for the logistical and industrial activities developed by the mining company in the state.

Within the proposal presented by the company, the program also integrates professional training actions maintained in regions where Vale has permanent operations, focusing on preparing workers for roles that require specialized technical training and supervised learning.

The training includes a CLT contract, a monthly remuneration of up to R$ 2.225,00, and benefits. The vacancies are for people aged 18 or over, with complete high school education, and residing in the locations covered by the selection.

In Espírito Santo, the opportunity covers Greater Vitória, with preparation focused on roles related to the company’s operations.

Vale’s free technical courses in partnership with Senai

The vacancies cover different areas focused on industrial maintenance, logistics, and equipment operation used in the company’s structures, expanding opportunities for candidates interested in entering technical roles related to the industrial sector.

To meet the demands of Vale’s operations in Espírito Santo, the courses were organized with a focus on activities related to railway transport, port handling, and equipment maintenance present in the company’s operational units.

Throughout the training, participants will have contact with content developed in partnership with Senai, an institution nationally recognized for professional qualification aimed at industry and technical preparation for large-scale operational environments.

The program offers training in areas such as electrical, welding, mechanics, electromechanics, railway operation, port operation, and mobile equipment operation.

The proposal is to train professionals for essential activities in industrial, logistical, and mining environments.

The qualification lasts approximately 18 months and combines theoretical classes with practical training in Vale’s operations.

According to the company, the in-person stage may include experiences in structures such as railways, ports, mines, and plants, depending on the chosen area and operational needs.

During the theoretical phase, activities take place during business hours, with an eight-hour daily workload.

The practical stage, however, may follow shifts and schedules defined by the company, according to the routine of the units where participants are allocated.

Salary of up to R$ 2.225 and benefits during training

Another point that differentiates the program is the hiring model adopted throughout the entire period of technical training, as selected participants enter the initiative with a formal employment contract and access to the rights provided by labor legislation.

While participating in classes and practical activities, students receive monthly remuneration and benefits offered by the company, a measure that seeks to ensure conditions for full dedication to the professional qualification process.

As informed by Vale, the package provided to participants follows standards similar to those applied in other professional training and development programs maintained by the company in different regions of the country.

One of the main differentials of the program is hiring under the CLT regime during training.

Vale reports a monthly remuneration of up to R$ 2.225,00, in addition to medical assistance, dental and pharmaceutical assistance, life insurance, and transportation or transport voucher, when applicable.

Selected candidates may also receive meal vouchers or on-site meals.

During the practical stage, the company also provides food vouchers, according to the program rules and the unit to which the participant is linked.

The list of benefits includes incentives for physical activity and access to Apoiar, an employee assistance program with legal, financial, and psychological support.

The company informs that all conditions follow the internal selection rules.

Requirements to participate in Vale’s program

To participate in the selection process, candidates must meet the criteria defined by the company, including a minimum age of 18, complete high school education, and availability to fully comply with the expected workload during training.

As the training involves in-person activities, the company emphasizes that participants must attend both Senai units and the operational environments used in the practical stages of the program.

The opportunities were primarily directed at residents of Greater Vitória, a region that concentrates a significant part of the industrial, railway, and logistics operations maintained by Vale in Espírito Santo.

To compete, it is necessary to be 18 years of age or older, have a complete regular or technical high school education, and reside in the job location.

Vale informs that the opportunities are aimed at residents of the territories where the company operates.

The selection seeks individuals interested in starting or developing a technical career in the industry.

Former employees of the company are advised to monitor permanent vacancies on the official careers website, as the PFP functions as an entry-level program.

Selection process will include tests and group dynamics

Divided into different stages, the selection process includes assessments focused on both basic knowledge and the behavioral competencies required for working in the operational areas covered by the program.

Initially, candidates will undergo online Portuguese and mathematics tests, while subsequent phases involve group dynamics, interviews, and direct interaction with company representatives and leaders.

Gradually, the selection will be conducted over the next few months until the final hiring phase, which includes psychological evaluation, pre-employment medical exams, and document verification for approved participants.

The selection process takes place online and includes registration, Portuguese and mathematics assessments, dynamics with consultancy, a panel with Vale leaders, psychological evaluation, medical exams, document submission, and admission.

All stages are eliminatory. The company also informs that all candidates will receive feedback via email, either for continuation in the selection or to thank them for their participation.

Registrations opened on April 24, 2026 and continue until May 10, 2026. The admission of approved candidates is expected to occur according to the schedule of each vacancy, after the completion of the mandatory stages.

How to apply for the Professional Training Program 2026

Applications must be made exclusively through Vale’s official channels, on the Professional Training Program page.

The company emphasizes that it does not charge any fee for participation in selection processes and advises candidates to monitor the email registered on the platform throughout the selection.
