10 former Petrobras managers are fined for irregular activities at Comperj
One of the TCU's main real motivations for applying penalties to former Petrobras managers for their work at Comperj had as one of the main reasons high costs in a short period of time for the execution of the project.
The TCU's small hearing on the cats at Comperj, which seemed to result in nothing for the Petrobras, had as a final result around 17 former managers of the oil company summoned to explain the high costs of the undertaking and only seven, of these seventeen, will not suffer any type of penalty.
“A total of seventeen responsible persons were summoned for a hearing. Of this total, four former managers had their justifications accepted, three did not evade their conduct, but will not be penalized by the prescription of the punitive claim and ten former directors will be sanctioned”, points out Minister-Rapporteur Vital do Rêgo.
