Technology Is Being Developed By Embraer And Aims To Reduce The Emission Of Pollutant Gases From Aircraft In The Atmosphere
In light of the trend towards sustainable fuels, Embraer has made it public that it is advancing in the development of technology that will produce commercial aircraft with hybrid and electric propulsion, taking a giant step in the sector, according to Jovem Pan’s website.
In a statement sent to the press on Monday, the 5th, Embraer stated that it is tirelessly researching the construction of aircraft that can carry between 19 and 30 passengers, with the expectation that by 2030 the technology will be ready for the market.
The company’s focus is to reduce pollutant gas emissions in the environment by up to 90% with the new technology and to adopt a form of sustainable aviation fuel made from organic oils, agricultural waste, or forestry materials.

Tests On Electric Aircraft Conducted By Embraer
Electric And Hybrid Aircraft
Embraer had already shown interest in producing electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft technology, with a smaller passenger capacity, as well as designing a model powered by a fuel cell, which would be capable of zeroing the emission of carbon dioxide.
As technology advances, Embraer is researching the technical and commercial viability of the new technologies, with the company’s bet on smaller aircraft linked to these models being more economical and ready quickly.
