Federal government warns that scammers are using a fake site with the name Desenrola Brasil to request personal data, charge supposed fees via Pix, and promise debt renegotiation, while the official program advises direct service with banks and creditors.
The federal government has warned about a fake site using the name Desenrola Brasil to scam people interested in renegotiating debts. The fraudulent platform requests personal data and charges supposed fees via Pix, a practice nonexistent in the official program.
The economic sector’s guidance is that no negotiation should be initiated through transfer. The Treasury emphasized that interested parties should contact banks and financial institutions with which they have debts to verify renegotiation conditions.
Desenrola Brasil does not charge a fee via Pix
The fake site offers CPF consultation to verify supposed eligibility for the program and maintains chat service to discuss debts, such as credit card. The page conditions renegotiation on advance payment.

The scammers request Pix under justifications such as “administrative fee” and “electronic processing.” The government dismisses the charge and informs that there is no fee to participate in the New Desenrola Brasil nor to initiate negotiations.
The Ministry of Finance reported that the fraudulent page copies visual elements of the federal government and promises to “clear the name” of debtors in up to five days. The department issued a statement to warn about the scam.
Renegotiation should be done with creditors
To avoid losses, the recommendation is to seek the source of the debt, such as a bank, credit card operator, or creditor institution. Desenrola Brasil negotiations should occur directly through these channels, without prior payment.
The program allows renegotiation of personal credit, overdraft, and credit card, with a discount of up to 90%. The initiative is aimed at those earning up to five minimum wages, with a renegotiation limit of R$ 15,000 per person.
The rules are on an official platform created by the Ministry of Finance. Access does not require registration, presents a debt simulator, and does not request personal data. Desenrola Brasil advises citizens to verify information through the channels.
