Federal Institute (IFMG) opens new selection process with vacancies for teachers, with monthly grants of R$1.430,00.
The Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais (IFMG) has just launched a selective process with 60 vacancies for teachers. The Foundation for Supporting the Development of Extension, Research, Professional and Technological Education (FADEMA) offers this unique opportunity for teachers and undergraduate students to contribute to the education of young people in situations of social vulnerability.
These vacancies are aimed at strengthening the teaching of 9th grade students and are intended for work on the various campuses of the Federal Institute.

The vacancies are distributed across different IFMG campuses, located in cities such as Conselheiro Lafaiete, Piumhi, Ipatinga, Itabirito, Ponte Nova, among others.
Each vacancy lasts 10 months and requires a workload of 10 hours per week, with classes in the afternoon.

Who can apply for vacancies in the IFMG selection process?
O process The selection process is open to a variety of candidates who meet the requirements established in the notice.
The following may apply: public servants, whether at federal, state, district or municipal level, who have training in the appropriate areas.
Permanent teachers from the state or municipal network who have a degree in the areas of Literature, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics may also participate.
Furthermore, the Federal Institute's selection process is also open to IFMG postgraduate students who have a degree in the mentioned areas.
Undergraduate students at IFMG, from the sixth period of the courses in Literature, Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Physics, can also apply for teaching positions offered by the Federal Institute.
Candidates must demonstrate teaching experience and meet the minimum academic training requirements.
The selection process will be carried out in a single phase, with documentary analysis of an eliminatory and classificatory nature.
The selection of vacancies will be made taking into account the academic qualifications and teaching experience of the candidates.
How do I register for the selection process for teaching positions?
Entries for the process The selection processes of the Federal Institute are open until February 14, 2025.
Candidates must register exclusively through an online form, available at the official link provided in the notice.

The Federal Institute's selection will be based on criteria such as academic qualifications, teaching experience and assessment scores.
The maximum score for selection is 45 points. Candidates will be evaluated according to their academic qualification (undergraduate, specialization, master's or doctorate) and their teaching experience.
In the event of a tie, the highest score in teaching experience will be considered first, followed by the highest academic qualification and, lastly, the candidate's age.
On February 19th, the preliminary result of the selection process will be released on the official FADEMA website (www.fadema.org.br).
Furthermore, candidates will have until February 21, 2025 to file appeals, and only on February 26 will the final result be published.
After the results are announced, the selected teachers will begin their activities in the program, participating in the vacancies available on the Federal Institute campuses.
