Universities that claim to be in favor of equality and equity are the first institutions to preach one thing and do another.
I have several degrees that could make a positive contribution, and some are also relevant, in Teaching, including Distance Learning, Preceptorship in Multidisciplinary Health, and as a Content Writer. All of them are from renowned schools. Every week, job advertisements for Tutoring positions appear, because I was very interested in them before. However, I always noticed the low pay and the absurd demands, even though I studied a lot. So, I preferred to use my time investing in courses in areas in which I wanted to acquire knowledge. This advertisement was the first in a long time that apparently seemed like a good offer. However, in light of your observation, it is necessary to reflect and analyze. I believe that the managers of the HEI must have their reasons, but without a doubt, the aforementioned criterion directly affects the scope of the reach of professional educators who are able to fill the positions.
