Samu Triângulo Sul has opened applications for its public competition, offering positions for ambulance drivers and nursing technicians.

Even with a legal impasse blocking the purchase of new ambulances, preparations for the operation of the service are progressing. Starting this Wednesday (03), you can register until July 22 to be part of this mission.

174 Vacancies Distributed in 17 Regional Bases

At this first moment, 174 vacancies have been opened for the formation of teams that will operate in the 17 bases of Samu Regional.

Requirements for Positions in Samu

To apply for the position of ambulance driver, the following is required:

Age over 21 years;
Completed Elementary Education;
License in Category D with a minimum of one year of experience;
Completion of emergency and urgent care course (minimum of 20 hours);
Proven training in urgent care driving course.

The salary offered for drivers is R$ 1,800 for a 12×36-hour work schedule.

For the position of nursing technician at Samu, candidates must have:

Completed High School;
Nursing technical course with registration in Coren;
A minimum of six months of experience in emergency and urgent care;
Course in the area of emergency and urgent care (minimum of 20 hours).

The remuneration for nursing technicians is R$ 2,693.25, also for a 12×36-hour work schedule.

Future Opportunities and Selection Process

According to Vanessa Silva Faria, general director of the Intermunicipal Public Health Consortium of the Urgency and Emergency Network of the Macrorregion of Triângulo do Sul (Cistrisul), new announcements will be released soon to fill positions for doctors, nurses, and other technical professionals in the Samu Regional.

Structure and Operations

The beginning of the hiring of the Samu Regional team is conditioned to the closure of bidding for the establishment of the physical structure of the decentralized bases and the purchase of ambulances to make up the service fleet.

However, the bidding process for the acquisition of vehicles is currently suspended by order of the Court of Justice of Minas Gerais.
