The Federal Government announced the opening of registrations for a new public competition in the IT area with 200 temporary vacancies for Information Technology professionals. It is necessary to demonstrate a higher education degree in any area and have at least five years of professional experience in Information and Communication Technology, Data Science, Public Administration, Communication, Administration, Information Science or Engineering. Alternatively, master's or doctoral degrees in the same areas are also accepted.

Vacancies for UX (User Experience) now accept candidates with degrees in Design and Social Sciences, while vacancies for Data Science now include the areas of Statistics and Accounting Sciences.   • Specialist in Business Process Analysis - 30 vacancies
  • User Experience (UX) Specialist — 15 vacancies
  • Data Science Specialist — 35 vacancies
  • Software Development Specialist — 40 vacancies
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist — 15 vacancies
  • Project Management Specialist — 45 vacancies

Those approved in the public competition will have a 40-hour work week and will be linked to the Digital Government Secretariat of the Ministry of Management and Innovation (MGI), in Brasília-DF.

Performance of new employees, salaries and benefits

Selected professionals will be integrated into the Startup GOV.BR program, a federal government strategy that aims to support and boost digital transformation projects.

Currently, the program has 18 active startups, working on important initiatives such as FGTS Digital, SIGACrim System, implementation of the National Electronic Process (PEN) in states and municipalities, in addition to the modernization of the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico). In addition to these, there are six other startups in the development process.

The professionals hired will receive a salary of R$8.300,00, in addition to food allowance. The selection process is being coordinated by AOCP Institute and was authorized due to the temporary need of exceptional public interest.
