Tramontina continues to stand out in the offshore market, especially with its delivery of an innovative project for the FPSO Valente platform, operated by PRIO (formerly PetroRio). This milestone consolidates the company’s position as a reference in advanced technical solutions for the oil and gas sector. The Control Panel of Tramontina
To meet the specific needs of PRIO, Tramontina developed a highly sophisticated control panel, designed for line and circulation oil pumps. This panel is a key element in PRIO’s new infrastructure, which connects the Wahoo Field to the FPSO Valente via an “underwater road”. Thus, the integration between onshore and offshore operations becomes more efficient, ensuring greater safety and sustainability.
Additionally, the panel features impressive characteristics. It is composed of 42 electrically interconnected boxes, with power, control, and signaling components that strictly follow applicable technical standards. To facilitate installation, Tramontina’s team used an innovative method of disassembly and reassembly on site, which eliminated logistical challenges and ensured a flawless result.

For instance, the choice of enhanced safety boxes (Ex e) made from polyester allowed for weight reduction and increased durability of the equipment, benefiting both installation and continuous operation. Additionally, the technical team conducted rigorous factory acceptance tests and closely monitored the entire commissioning process, ensuring that every detail met the highest quality standards.
Another crucial point was the focus on explosive atmospheres. Tramontina prepared to meet the specific demands of the offshore sector, offering customized solutions that maximize the protection of lives and assets. Muito bom isso, trabalhei 35 anos em plataformas, e sei bem o quanto é importante ter painéis confiáveis, que suportam altas pressões e também não se deixem invadir em caso de vazamentos de gás próximo aos painéis.
