Latest Increase Announced in Transfers to Refineries Reflects Over 14% Increase for Consumers
“In March, the IPTL identified an increase of over 14% in the price of diesel, reflecting the latest increase announced in transfers to refineries. In the first half of April, this variation in increase receded, but the scenario remains one of rising prices. No region of the country recorded a decrease in fuel prices, but rather a spike in prices that reaches over 5%, as is the case in the South Region,” emphasizes the General Director of Mainstream of the Fleet and Mobility division of Edenred Brazil.
The IPTL is a fuel price index based on refuels carried out at the 21,000 accredited Ticket Log stations, which has great reliability due to the number of vehicles managed by the brand: 1 million in total, with an average of eight transactions per second.
