The Farroupilha Federal Institute (IFFar) has announced Public Notice No. 358/2024, opening the selection process and admission process for degree courses starting in the first semester of 2025. A total of 2,085 spots are being offered across on-site and distance (EaD) courses. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to enroll in continuing education courses, specializations, or professional training in various fields.
The goal of the courses is to provide higher education qualifications in different areas of knowledge. The courses are offered in two modalities: on-site and distance (EaD), with workloads varying according to the course. During the program, students will participate in activities such as theoretical classes, seminars, discussion forums, and continuous assessments, providing a broad and practical education.
Available Spots and Locations
The IFFar selection process offers 1,855 spots for on-site courses and 230 spots for online (EaD) courses. The on-site degree courses are distributed across various campuses, such as Alegrete, Santa Rosa, Santo Ângelo, and others. Meanwhile, the distance courses are offered through specific centers, such as Uruguaiana, São Vicente do Sul, and others, ensuring wide regional distribution.

Selection Process for Degree Courses
The selection process reserves spots for affirmative action policies and also for persons with disabilities (PcD). The selection is based on the candidate’s performance in the Enem since the 2009 edition, with candidates having higher scores classified accordingly. For those opting for quotas, it is necessary to have completed high school entirely in public schools.
Registration Requirements
To participate, candidates must have completed high school or be about to finish by the confirmation date of the spot. Additionally, it is necessary to have participated in the Enem, choosing the year of best performance. Registration must be done online, and it is recommended that candidates have access to a computer and the internet to follow the process.
