The process involved the use of chainsaws to free the truck from its “wooden prison,” marking the end of its long hibernation.

The rescued pickup is in terrible condition, with a lot of rust both on the exterior and interior. Furthermore, the iconic “Flathead” V8 engine is missing. However, the future of this relic looks promising, as it has been taken to a new home where it may undergo a complete restoration.
Even if it ends up becoming a hot rod, the vehicle’s fate will be much more dignified than rotting away abandoned in a barn.
