Healthtech Unifies Systems, Eliminates Frauds, and Aims to Double Revenue by 2025
Nexdom has become a landmark in the digital transformation of supplementary health in Brazil.
Created by Unimed in June 2023, the platform replaced 29 distinct systems with a single ERP.

Since its launch, the company has experienced robust growth, recording R$70 million in revenue in just the first year.
The figure exceeded expectations and confirmed the success of the technological unification strategy.
Platform Reduces Errors with Facial Recognition and Unifies Clinical Management
The main innovation of Nexdom lies in the use of facial biometrics and artificial intelligence to validate medical services.
By adopting facial recognition, the company eliminated 18% of repeated physiotherapy sessions that were improperly conducted.
Additionally, it reduced duplicate charges in routine consultations by 3.5%, according to data provided by Unimed itself.
This automation was implemented with the goal of reducing fraud and making operations more reliable.
The technology also aids in scheduling, releasing exams, and clinical audits, supported by real-time algorithms.
Unimed Integrates Cooperatives and Aims to Reach 80% of the Network by 2027
Based in São Paulo, Nexdom currently serves 142 Unimed cooperatives spread throughout Brazil.
According to CEO Daniel Torres, the goal is to reach 80% of the network’s units by the end of 2027.
Additionally, the company is in negotiation with health operators outside the group.
These partnerships aim to expand the reach of the platform and make it a national reference in ERP solutions for the sector.
Nexdom is already integrated into the system of 6.5 million Unimed beneficiaries.
High Revenue in the First Year
Between June 2023 and June 2024, the company surpassed R$70 million in revenue.
In just the first months, the company had already exceeded the initial projection of R$26 million for the period.
This growth is mainly due to the scalability of the solution and the savings generated by reducing rework.
With the centralized ERP, doctors, operators, and patients began to operate on a single synchronized interface.
This way, Nexdom also reduced operational costs and increased the predictability of the network’s finances.
AI, Electronic Records, and New Solutions Enter the Expansion Route
Nexdom continues to invest heavily in innovation.
An electronic record with integrated artificial intelligence is under development that will allow clinical decisions based on historical patient data.
Moreover, the system will identify behavior patterns and potential health risks based on trained algorithms.
CEO Daniel Torres stated that upcoming updates will also include new modules for digital prescription and telehealth readiness.
The entire process has been constructed under strict compliance guidelines from ANS and the internal policies of the Unimed group.
The company follows an internal editorial plan focused on accuracy, without exaggerated promises and with transparency in every delivery.
