The minimum requirements for the position of SAFETY TECHNICIAN include technical training in the area, experience of 2 years in service providers, and knowledge of the OFFICE package. The activities include ⇒
- Ensure the safety of employees during maintenance services on energy systems;
- Supervise, inspect services, observe working conditions, and identify risk situations;
- Work preventively;
- Address administrative demands (sending documents for integration and granting access to clients and specific purchases for the activity);
- Analyze work installations, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and proposing controls for mitigation;
- Guide employees on unsafe work conditions and actions;
- Train company employees on safety standards, fire prevention, and other accident prevention measures;
- Control, acquire, distribute, and oversee PPE;
- Coordinate CIPA and SIPAT
However, there are desirable requirements such as: Knowledge of NR regulations, knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000 standards, Inspection and Analysis of Workstations; Accident Investigation and Analysis, Incident Records, and Knowledge of E-Social.
