New Contest for High School and Undergraduate Open: University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) Offers Dozens of Vacancies. Don’t Miss This Opportunity and Register for the UFMG Contest Right Now!

The registration period for the public contest at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) for administrative technician positions ends next Monday (21). This is a contest for high school, aimed at the position of administrative assistant, and also for undergraduate level, for the positions of urban planner, physiotherapist, auditor, and accountant. In total, the UFMG contest has 20 vacancies.

Who Can Participate in the UFMG Public Contest?

Those interested in the high school contest must be a natural-born or naturalized Brazilian, under the terms of the current legislation or be supported by the statute of equality between Brazilians and Portuguese, with recognition of political rights, must be at least 18 years old, have physical and mental capability to perform the duties of the position, not accumulate positions, jobs, and public functions, be up to date with electoral obligations, and be cleared of military obligations, in the case of male candidates.

For the UFMG contest, it is also necessary to have the educational background and requirements for the position, be up to date with obligations to the Class Council for positions that require it, and meet other qualification requirements for the position, according to the announcement. It is also essential not to have suffered, during the exercise of public function, penalties incompatible with being appointed to a public position.

The registrations for the Federal University contest must be carried out on the website of the Permanent Commission of the Vestibular (Copeve/UFMG) and the rules of the process are described in the selection announcement and the rectification announcement, published after the update of the number of vacancies (from 10 to 20) and the addition of the accountant position.

The registration fee for the public contest is R$ 165 for undergraduate level and R$ 110 for high school. The payment slip for the registration fee must be generated on the Copeve page and paid by October 22. The candidate must monitor the completion of their registration on the Copeve page, which will be confirmed within up to three business days after the payment of the bank slip.

The definitive proof of registration, which includes the time and location for the exam of the high school and undergraduate contest, as well as information regarding the approval or disapproval of the request for special conditions for candidates with disabilities, will be available on the contest’s website from November 11. It must be printed and presented at the exam location along with a photo ID.

Exams of the Federal University Contest

The public contest will be held in a single stage, and the exams will take place in Belo Horizonte on December 17. The objective exam of the UFMG contest will consist of 35 multiple-choice questions, with 4 alternatives and only one answer to be chosen.

The objective exam will have an eliminatory and classificatory character and will consist of questions on different subjects, according to the announcement. The exam will last a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes and will be held on the date specified in the schedule of the announcement.

Candidates who score 0 on the total questions of Portuguese language, on the total questions of Specific Knowledge, or who do not reach the minimum score of 18 points of achievement in the Objective Exam will be eliminated from the contest.
