The deadline for registration for the public competition of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) for technical-administrative positions. This is a competition for high school students, aimed at the position of administrative assistant, and also for higher education, for the positions of urban architect, physiotherapist, auditor and accountant. In total, the UFMG competition has 20 candidates. vacancies.

Who can participate in the UFMG public competition?

Those interested in the high school competition must be Brazilian-born or naturalized, in accordance with current legislation or be covered by the statute of equality between Brazilians and Portuguese, with recognition of the enjoyment of political rights, be at least 18 years old, have physical and mental aptitude to exercise the duties of the position, not accumulate positions, jobs and public functions, be up to date with electoral obligations, be up to date with military obligations, in the case of male candidates.

To take the UFMG exam, candidates must also have completed their education and meet the requirements for the position, be up to date with their obligations to the Professional Council for positions that require it, and meet other qualification requirements for holding the position, as per the notice. It is also essential not to have suffered, while exercising public office, a penalty incompatible with holding a public office.

O The basic salary offered in the Federal University competition is R$2.667,19 for secondary education and R$4.556,92 for higher education. All those holding technical-administrative positions in education will receive a food allowance of R$1.

The work schedule for those approved in the UFMG competition is 40 hours per week, with the exception of the physiotherapist position, where it is 30 hours per week.

Applications for the Federal University competition must be made on the website of the Permanent Entrance Exam Committee (Copeve/UFMG) and the rules of the process are described in the selection notice and in the rectification notice, published after updating the number of vacancies (from 10 to 20) and adding the accountant position.

The application fee for the public examination is R$165 for higher education and R$110 for secondary education. The bank slip for payment of the application fee must be generated on the Copeve website and paid by October 22. Candidates must monitor the completion of their application on the Copeve website, which will be confirmed within three business days after payment of the bank slip.

The final proof of registration, which includes the time and place of the exam for secondary and higher education, as well as information regarding whether or not the request for special conditions for candidates with disabilities was met, will be available on the exam website from November 11th. It must be printed and presented at the exam location along with a photo ID.

Federal University competition tests

The public competition will be held in a single stage and the tests will be held in Belo Horizonte, on December 17. The objective test of the UFMG competition will consist of 35 multiple choice questions, with 4 alternatives and only one answer to be chosen.

The objective test will be eliminatory and classificatory in nature and will consist of questions on different subjects, as per the notice. The test will last a total of 2h30 minutes and will be held on the date stated in the notice's Schedule.

Candidates who obtain a score of 0 in the total number of Portuguese language questions, in the total number of Specific Knowledge questions, or who do not achieve the minimum score of 18 points in the Objective Test will be eliminated from the competition.
