Senai Offers 1 Thousand Job Openings Through the Employ Senai Program for Residents of Curitiba. The Opportunities Include Job Offers and Free Professional Development Courses.

This Tuesday (26) and Wednesday (27), Senai of Curitiba is hosting the Employ Senai focused on the Construction Industry, which aims to provide 1 thousand job openings with salaries that can reach R$ 9 thousand. The event takes place next to the CIC Terminal, from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Event Will Also Offer Free Courses in the Construction Field

In addition to job creation, the Senai event for the construction sector focuses on professional qualification, with the promotion and offering of free courses from the National Industrial Learning System.

According to Juliana Maia, coordinator of Education and Business at the Fiep System, the Employ Senai for Construction was created to expand knowledge of the construction sector in the community, promote general professional qualification, and primarily facilitate the connection between qualified professionals and real job offers in the construction sector.

The Employ Senai van for the construction sector will be parked next to the CIC terminal, on Rua São Severino, at the corner with Rua Léa Moreira de Souza Moura, presenting interested individuals with job openings available on the Employ Senai platform, including job openings for the construction sector.

In addition to Sinduscon-PR, the event is promoted by the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (FIEP), with support from the Curitiba City Hall, the Social Action Foundation (FAS), the Urbanization of Curitiba (Urbs), and the Agency for Metropolitan Affairs of Paraná (Amep).

During the event at CIC, the Employ Senai van will be on-site with teams from the Fiep System to provide guidance on how to register on the Employ Senai platform, which connects interested individuals to available vacancies in the industry, present free technical courses, and register interested parties.

The president of Sinduscon-PR, Carlos Cade, emphasizes that Paraná was the state that generated the most new job openings in the southern region from January to July of this year, according to data from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged), released on August 30.

It is a positive number, to which the construction industry contributes significantly. The sector, whether for public or private works, is hiring and seeking qualified labor, thus, this partnership with the Federation is very important.

What Free Courses Will Be Offered by Senai?

As mentioned above, in addition to job openings, the Employ Senai for Construction will also offer slots in qualification and professional development courses focused on the construction sector. Among the courses with free slots available during the Employ Senai for Construction are: Hydraulic Systems Maintenance, Project Reading and Interpretation, and Techniques in Electrical Installations Maintenance.

A partner in this project, the Social Service of Sinduscon-PR (Seconci-PR) will conduct rapid tests in the healthcare sector and present to the public the services offered in dental and medical areas at no cost to workers of affiliated construction companies.

Urbs Móvel will also be on-site with a van adapted to provide guidance on services related to public transportation, such as transportation cards. In October and November of this year, two more editions of the Employ Senai for Construction are planned in the Boqueirão and Boa Vista neighborhoods, respectively.
