The job opportunities at the plant are for professionals with a high school diploma, technical training, and higher education. About Santa Adélia Plant
The Santa Adélia Plant was founded in 1937 and has two plants located in the cities of Jaboticabal and Pereira Barreto in São Paulo.
The company has approximately 3,000 employees who contribute to its growth. The plant maintains a strict quality standard in the production of sugar and ethanol. Additionally, the plant generates electricity from burning sugarcane bagasse, which ensures internal consumption and the sale of surplus to the National Interconnected System.

Prerequisites:
- Completed High School;

Some of the main responsibilities:
- Monitor the operations of irrigation systems including pivots, drip irrigation, and reels;
- Turn irrigation equipment on and off, handle and control the applied blades, following the guidance of team leaders and operational procedures;
- Perform and monitor the operation of water intake, reservoirs, pipelines, valves, controls, motor pumps, floats, hoses, fertilizer injectors, generators, pivots, drip irrigation, and reels, checking all functionality and taking necessary actions in case of shutdowns or improper operations;
- Assist the tractor operator in installing reels to water hydrants, aiming for proper irrigation service operation.
Precision Agriculture Technician
Prerequisites:
- Completed Technical Course in Agriculture, Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Process Automation Technician;
- Knowledge of GPS (Global Positioning System), electronics/embedded technology in agricultural machines, and basic electricity;
- Driver’s License B.
Some of the main responsibilities:
- Transport necessary documents from the office to the field to ensure the use of embedded technology in agricultural machines;
- Calibrate equipment to ensure the quality of service proposed by the use of embedded technology;
- Perform electrical tests to identify anomalies in the embedded technology equipment in agricultural machines;
- Assist mechanics and electricians in troubleshooting issues impacting equipment performance;
- Execute installations and removals of technology equipment in agricultural machines.
Prerequisites:
- Completed Elementary School.
Some of the main responsibilities:
- Operate the motor pump to ensure irrigation with safety and quality standards, in addition to preserving the equipment’s lifespan, operating as specified by the procedure;
- Eliminate risks of leaks in the pipelines and replace the piping or its connections whenever ruptures occur;
- Perform the assembly and disassembly of irrigation pipes and connections as specified by the operational procedure.
