The incident left ten workers with minor injuries, all conscious, while emergency teams are isolating the area and awaiting inspection from the Civil Defense.
According to the Civil Defense, a line of rain accompanied by intense winds swept through various regions of the state, causing damage to structures, trees, and homes.

“The Porto Feliz region suffered due to the strong gusts of wind, with several trees falling on public roads, power lines, as well as some homes and a factory that were left roofless,” reported the agency.
Damage at the Toyota Factory in Porto Feliz
Images released show parts of the Toyota warehouse being torn off by the wind, highlighting the storm’s intensity.
Despite the severity, employees were quickly attended to and transported by vehicles from the company itself.
The factory remains isolated and under monitoring, while the Civil Defense assesses the extent of the damage.
CNN has reached out to Toyota for details on the material losses but has not yet received a response.
Storm Affects the Entire Region with Rain and Wind
The phenomenon that hit Porto Feliz was not isolated. According to the Civil Defense, wind gusts reached 100 km/h in some areas of the São Paulo capital, accompanied by heavy rain.
Authorities continue to account for the damages and provide support to the population. So far, there are no reports of homeless or displaced persons, but the municipality has declared a state of emergency due to the storm’s intensity.

The severe storm brought significant consequences for the city. Fallen trees block streets, while power lines have been compromised, affecting homes and businesses near the factory of Toyota.
“The Civil Defense remains in the field, providing support to residents and checking the damages. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries,” added the agency.
