Polo Stands Out With Sales to Companies and Rural Producers, Driven by the Launch of Polo Robust and Surpassing Fiat Strada
The Brazilian automotive market underwent a turnaround in 2024, with the Volkswagen Polo taking the lead in sales and surpassing Fiat Strada. With 11,943 units registered in March, the Polo not only led the month but also became the best-selling vehicle in the country, with 27,263 units sold in the year, according to the Carros.ig website.
The success of the Polo is largely attributed to sales to companies and rural producers. In March alone, 73.7% of sales were made to CNPJ. The launch of the Polo Robust, aimed at rural producers, significantly contributed to this performance.

Sales Ranking
The Chevrolet Onix came in second place, with 7,753 units sold, followed by the Fiat Argo, with 6,850. The Hyundai HB20 and Fiat Strada tied for third place, each with 18,053 registrations. The Volkswagen T-Cross stood out among the SUVs, totaling 5,462 registrations, followed by the Nissan Kicks, with 5,034 units sold.
