With Impressive Performance, The SU7 Ultra Promises To Redefine The Limits Of Electric Cars And Surpass Renowned Competitors
Xiaomi, known for its innovative smartphones, has just launched a hyper-sports version of its electric car, the SU7 Ultra. With 1548 horsepower and four doors, the vehicle aims to be the fastest in the world, surpassing both gasoline and electric models. This launch marks a new phase for Xiaomi, which has already been successful with the SU7, comparable to the Porsche Taycan, and now promises to revolutionize the automotive market, according to the site Electrek.
Initial Success And New Challenges
The Xiaomi SU7, available only in China, quickly captured the public’s attention with its affordable price of 215,900 RMB (approximately US$ 30,000) for the base model of 299 hp. The Max version, with 673 hp, costs around US$ 41,000 and offers enhanced performance. Demand was so high that it quickly sold out, generating a seven-month waitlist with 50,000 orders.
Despite the positive reviews, doubts arose about the quality and durability of the SU7. However, Xiaomi was undeterred and now presents the SU7 Ultra, a prototype that promises to take performance to a new level.

Extreme Performance And Advanced Technology
The SU7 Ultra has more than double the power of the Max version, with three electric motors totaling 1548 hp. This impressive power allows for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.97 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 5.96 seconds. The top speed reaches 350 km/h. Additionally, the car can brake from 100 km/h to zero in just 25 meters, thanks to a regenerative braking force of 0.6 G and physical brakes that provide up to 2.36 G.
Weighing 1900 kg, the SU7 Ultra is relatively light for a hypercar, thanks to carbon fiber panels that reduce weight and improve aerodynamics. The design features a large rear wing that generates 2,145 kg of downforce, increasing stability at high speeds.
High-Capacity Battery And Fast Charging
The SU7 Ultra uses the new CATL Qilin II battery, which allows for zero to 100% charging in just 12 minutes, when connected to a high-powered 897V charger. Even at 20% charge, the battery can deliver over 800 kW (1072 hp), ensuring consistent performance on long track days.
Xiaomi plans to take the SU7 Ultra to the Nürburgring in October, with the ambition of breaking the lap record for four-door electric cars, currently held by the Porsche Taycan with a time of 7 minutes and 7 seconds. The company will face a significant challenge, given Porsche’s successful history at the circuit.
The Future Of Electric Hypercars
There is currently no information on the availability or pricing of the SU7 Ultra. Although it is currently a prototype, the popularity of the SU7 suggests that the demand for this hyper-sport version will be high. It remains to be seen whether Xiaomi will be able to bring the SU7 Ultra to the global market or if it will remain exclusive to China.
The success of the SU7 Ultra could represent a significant milestone for Xiaomi in the automotive sector. If it can compete with giants like Porsche at the Nürburgring, Xiaomi will solidify its position as an innovative force not just in the electronics market, but also in the automotive industry.

I really liked this car because it is fast and electric, but there is one detail that caught my attention: this model was designed only for asphalt. I am a designer and I understand very well the design of various technology models and I believe that in the future we will have light, fast and electric vehicles, goodbye to gasoline and alcohol vehicles.

O slogan do carro, deveria ser:-
