Logum Logistics, the company responsible for constructing and operating a Logistics System for Transporting Fuels and Biocombustibles that involves multimodal transport, has more projects that fit within REIDI, with investment amounts reaching 645 million reais. With the continuous expansion of infrastructure, the total investment is around 750 million reais.
These projects are located in the state of São Paulo and are part of the multimodal logistics system for ethanol. The aim is to enhance the logistics of ethanol production flow, connecting production centers to major consumer centers, especially those located in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
The Pipelines:
The pipelines are an alternative to the limitations of the current cargo infrastructure, which mainly uses road transport. This avoids overloading and degrading the roadways. Additionally, they also provide energy efficiency benefits, promote the reduction of fossil fuel consumption, and lower greenhouse gas emission rates.
