Stellantis, a giant in the automotive sector, is about to revolutionize the Brazilian market with the launch of a new line of popular and cheap hybrid cars. These new vehicles promise advanced technology and affordable prices, being produced at the company's plant in Rio de Janeiro.
Stellantis, which is already the sales leader in Brazil with brands such as Fiat and Jeep, is investing billions of reais to bring a new range of compact hybrid vehicles to the market. These new models, equipped with BioHybrid technology, are in final phase testing and should start circulating soon.
The BioHybrid is composed of a 1.0 three-cylinder turboflex engine, associated with a 100V or 150V electric motor, with powers between 20 and 40 kW. The batteries have a capacity of up to 2 kWh, and the set promises a combined power of approximately 140 horsepower, in addition to consumption up to 15% more economical compared to conventional batteries. conventional engines.
The first models to receive this technology will be the Fiat Pulse, the Fiat Fastback and the Strada pickup truck.
In addition to them, the BioHybrid line will also equip the Citroën C3 Aircross and the new Citroën Basal, as well as the new second-generation Peugeot 208 and 2008, and the Jeep Avenger, which will arrive in Brazil in 2025.
