With 200 Thousand Hectares, Nova Piratininga Combines Precision Management, Specialized Transportation, and Technology to Ensure Quality in Cattle Ranching
Between Goiás and Tocantins, the Nova Piratininga Farm stands out for its size and efficiency. It encompasses more than 200 thousand hectares, with 100 thousand used for pastures and over 30% reserved for environmental preservation. The property maintains 120 thousand cattle in constant activity, which requires a large-scale logistical operation.
Strategic Division of Production Sectors
This entire structure is organized into five distinct sectors. Two are dedicated to reproduction. One is responsible for the rearing of breeding cows, while another handles commercial rearing. Finally, there is a finishing confinement.
During the weaning period, for example, approximately 30 thousand animals need to be relocated among the sectors. This constant movement requires detailed planning, speed, and respect for the well-being of the cattle.

Partnership with the Largest Cattle Transport Company in the Country
To tackle the logistical challenge, Nova Piratininga has partnered with Uboi, the largest cattle transport company in Brazil.
Through this cooperation, internal movements and external transports are carried out safely and efficiently.
The trailers used are equipped with elevators that facilitate the entry and exit of the animals. In addition, the drivers are specifically trained for transporting live loads.
Logistics does not depend solely on the vehicles. The farm has an extensive network of private roads, totaling 970 kilometers. This road system allows for rapid movements between sectors.
Each route is calculated considering the weather, the development stage of the animals, and the productive goals. This minimizes stress for the cattle and improves the performance of the entire operation.
Real-Time Digital Monitoring
Nova Piratininga also leverages technology to track transports. A tracking application allows monitoring of truck locations, travel conditions, and compliance with sanitary and welfare protocols.
This system ensures total control over the logistics chain and meets the traceability demands of consumers, who seek meat with guaranteed origin and assured quality.
According to Cleiton Luiz Custódio, general director of Nova Piratininga, logistics is a fundamental part of the complete cycle model adopted on the farm.
In this system, animals are born, raised, and finished within the property. The certification, obtained in partnership with JBS, ensures quality and total transparency to the consumer.
“We work with a focus on animal welfare and in processes that add value to our final product. Transportation is part of this and is treated with the utmost seriousness“, he explained.
Lucas Freitas, commercial coordinator at Uboi, emphasizes that logistical planning is always adapted to the needs of the farm.
“Our goal is to ensure that the animals arrive at their destination in the same condition they left, maintaining carcass quality and zootechnical performance. This is only possible with structure, training, and strong alignment with the farm team“, he stated.
Technical Integration Marks Transportation on the Farm
At Nova Piratininga, transportation goes beyond the movement of animals. It integrates genetics, nutrition, precision management, and environmental responsibility.
This technical combination places the farm among the most modern in the country, not only for its size but also for its capability to unite all aspects of beef production sustainably and efficiently.
Care and Commitment in Every Transport
Transporting a cattle at Nova Piratininga represents transporting results, care, and commitment. Each movement maintains the precision of the system, from the conception of the animals to the final confinement, always focused on quality, welfare, and respect for the land.
