Installation Analysis Engineer – Sr
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval Engineering;
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in installation analysis engineering and SURF EPCI projects and bids;
- Knowledge of S-lay, Reel-Lay, and J-lay methods;
- Knowledge of rigid pipings, flexible pipelines, umbilicals, jumpers, SCR installation analysis, and SLWR;
- Knowledge of SURF design codes (API, DNV) and installation procedures;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to interface with supervisors, peers, consultants, vendors, designers, and other engineers in multidisciplinary projects;
- Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Activities:
- Perform or verify installation analysis for subsea equipment/structures, rigid pipelines, flexible lines, and umbilicals under minimal supervision using Orcaflex;
- Prepare or verify reports, specifications, and drawings related to installation analysis engineering;
- Provide bidding engineering support related to installation analysis and prepare CTRs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Building Technician, Mechanical Technician, Naval Technician, or similar;
- Minimum of 2 years in drafting using AutoCad and Inventor. Demonstrate experience in the subsea/offshore industry;
- Portuguese (native or fluent) and English (intermediate);
- Provide technical assistance to the drafting group;
- Ability to interact with project personnel (internal or external).
Activities:
- Responsible for producing and reviewing documents (when performed by third parties);
- Responsible for planning their Scope of Work;
- Develop design solution assessments;
- Ensure that know-how is transferred within the discipline (lessons learned);
- Develop processes according to Group procedures and rules.
