As Soon As The Deepwater Titan Is Completed, It Will Start Working In The Gulf Of Mexico Under A Five-Year Contract.
The Deepwater Titan, the world’s second 8th generation drilling ship built by Sembcorp Marine, has been delivered to Transocean’s subsidiary, Triton Titan.
The Deepwater Titan is the first unit to be delivered with two 20,000 psi blowout preventers, well control systems, risers, and piping for high-pressure and high-temperature drilling and completion operations, as claimed by Sembcorp Marine. The vessel is based on the Jurong Espadon 3T design owned by the company.
