In an official statement today (17), Actemium, a leader in providing solutions for the energy sector, announced the signing of a contract with Petrobras, aimed at building a new substation at the Cabiúnas Terminal (SE-CCM520) in Macaé, Rio de Janeiro.
The terminal is a crucial component in Brazil’s Oil and Gas industry, responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing oil and gas from the Campos Basin and the Pre-Salt.
Development of the Executive Project and Preparation of the Worksite
The authorization for the service was signed on January 17, initiating the mobilization process. Currently, Actemium is working on the development of the Executive Project and the preparation of the worksite.

More than a decade of delays: the duplication of Lot 1 of BR-280, between São Francisco do Sul and Jaraguá do Sul, had its project approved in 2013, suffered stoppages and has remained halted since 2022, with only 36% of the services completed.
It is worth noting that another contract in the oil and gas sector had been signed in March with Petrobras for the supply of 6 definitive accommodation modules in the Campos Basin.
With a term of 510 days from the signing of the authorization, the contract is expected to be completed in June 2024.
Benefits of the New Electric System for the Cabiúnas Production Asset (APCAB)
At the end of the contract, Actemium will deliver a more modern and efficient electric system, ensuring greater operational reliability for the Cabiúnas Production Asset (APCAB). The new system will contribute to optimizing the production and distribution of oil and gas, benefiting both Petrobras and the Brazilian Oil and Gas industry as a whole.
Actemium has a multidisciplinary team and a focused approach to planning and control, prepared to provide value-added solutions for the onshore market, in both public and private sectors.
This partnership with Petrobras reinforces Actemium’s position as one of the leading suppliers of energy solutions in Brazil and highlights the importance of the Cabiúnas Terminal in the national Oil and Gas scenario.
In summary, the collaboration between Actemium and Petrobras in Macaé promises to bring significant improvements to the Cabiúnas Production Asset (APCAB), as well as to the Brazilian Oil and Gas industry.
The new electric system provided by Actemium will not only increase operational efficiency and reliability but will also help Petrobras achieve its energy production and distribution goals in Brazil.
