The strength of BASF’s portfolio includes Automotive Fluids, such as Brake and Cooling Fluids, Lubricant Additives, and Synthetic Lubricants – for both the automotive and industrial sectors. The diverse range of chemicals and technologies also includes viscosity modifiers based on Polyisobutene (PIB), which have multiple applications, from manufacturing chewing gum, adhesive tapes, cable compounds, to formulating high-viscosity lubricants.
